Keep Buffalo Bayou wild! Join birder and zoologist Doug Phillips as he discusses the variety of birds that call Buffalo Bayou their home. Canoe the bayou and experience the greenbelt’s unique flora and fauna. In the past, lucky canoeists have glimpsed two-foot turtles and graceful herons, so bring your binoculars and get ready for the adventure. Don A. Greene will also be your guide. His knowledge and experience include past president and chair of the Bayou Preservation Association who currently teaches earth science to Kinkaid and other schools of HISD.
